Leander High School Baseball Coaching Staff

Terry King

Coach King begins his seventh season as head baseball coach at Leander and has spent 30 years in the service of public education. He is also an assistant football coach for the Lions. Prior to coming to Leander, he was the head baseball coach at Arlington-Martin High School in Arlington, Texas. During that tenure, he made two trips to the final four and has one state championship in 1993. He received his bachelors degree from North Texas State University. Coach King enjoys golf in his spare time.

Coach King has been happily married to Tammy for the last fourteen years.  They have five grown children:  Micah, Brittany, Mavyn, Cody, and Tess.

Michael Hufstetler

Coach Hufstetler  begins his third season at Leander.  He  has coached baseball for 13 years, coming to Leander after coaching for 5 years as an assistant coach at Eisenhower High School.   He has also served as assistant baseball coach at Willis High School (4 years) and Caney Creek High School (2 years). 

 He received his B.S. in Education from Central Missouri State University.  

He is happily married to wife,  Jill, and they have a 5-year-old son, Brock.
