Terry King

Coach King is enjoying his eighth year as head baseball coach at Leander and has spent 30+ years in the service of public education. He is also an assistant football coach for the Lions. Prior to coming to Leander, he was the head baseball coach at Arlington-Martin High School in Arlington, Texas. During that tenure, he made two trips to the final four and one state championship in 1993.  He received his bachelors degree from North Texas State University. Coach King enjoys golf in his spare time.

Coach King has been happily married to Tammy for fifteen years. They have five grown children:  Micah, Brittany, Mavyn, Cody, and Tess.

Matt Grissom

Coach Matt Grissom begins his second year with Leander Baseball and his first as the Varsity Assistant. He began his coaching career at Grisham Middle School and Westwood High School where he coached football and baseball. He was born in Odessa, Texas where he developed his love for sports and competition. Coach Grissom attended Edna High School in Edna, Texas where he played football, basketball, and baseball. After high school he played college baseball at Concordia University in Austin for the late James Keller. He received his degree in Education and Kinesiology from St. Edward’s University in Austin graduating Cum Laude .

Coach Grissom is married to Heather, and they have three children that are future Lions - Matthew, Mark, and Emily.

Bryce Morrison

David Warehime

Coach Warehime begins his second year at Leander
High School.  He has spent 24 years in the public school system.  He previously coached at Belton HS, Moody HS, and Lewisville HS.  He received his Bachelors degree from NTSA in Denton.He is married to Cindy and has 3 childrenm - Jason, Adam, and KC.
