Matt Grissom

Coach Matt Grissom begins his fourth year with Leander Baseball and his first as the Head Coach. He began his coaching career at Grisham Middle School and Westwood High School where he coached football and baseball. He was born in Odessa, Texas where he developed his love for sports and competition. Coach Grissom attended Edna High School in Edna, Texas where he played football, basketball, and baseball. After high school he played college baseball at Concordia University in Austin for the late James Keller. He received his degree in Education and Kinesiology from St. Edward’s University in Austin graduating Cum Laude .

Coach Grissom is married to Heather, and they have three children that are future Lions - Matthew, Mark, and Emily.

Coach Warehime begins his third year at Leander
High School.  He has spent 24 years in the public school system.  He previously coached at Belton HS, Moody HS, and Lewisville HS.  He received his Bachelors degree from NTSA in Denton.He is married to Cindy and has 3 children - Jason, Adam, and KC.
